Significant changes include the following:
- Provided guidance, in Section 2.4.10, for storage of ignitable liquids in automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS).
- Revised protection guidance, in Section 2.4.9, for storage of distilled spirits.
- Updated guidance for N-Methylpyrrolidone (NMP) and Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO).

Added guidance on the storage of aerosol products in automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS)
DS 8-34: Protection for Automatic Storage and Retrieval Systems – Interim revision.
This data sheet was enhanced to instruct the end user to reference:
- FM Property Loss Prevention Data Sheet 7-29, Ignitable Liquid Storage in Portable Containers, when ignitable liquids are stored within an ASRS.
- FM Property Loss Prevention Data Sheet 7-31, Storage of Aerosol Products, when aerosols are stored within an ASRS.
- FM Property Loss Prevention Data Sheet 7-112, Lithium-Ion Battery Manufacturing and Storage, when lithium-ion batteries are stored within an ASRS.
